Her father is Brandy Tjungurrayi and his aunt and uncles are Elizabeth Nyumi, Patrick Olodoodi and Helicopter Tjungurrayi. She began painting in 2001, drawing inspiration from her father's "country" themes, located around Jupiter Well, a waterhole near Kiwirrkurra.
