He later graduated from the School of Industrial Art. For pulp and aviation magazines, Kremer did layout, illustration and lettering for ten years. He gradually worked his way into comics. He later graduated from the School of Industrial Art. For pulp and aviation magazines, Kremer did layout, illustration and lettering for ten years. He gradually worked his way into comics. His first title, published in Ace Publications, was Hap Hazard. Kremer married Grace who had been the letterer of Hap Hazard. Due to his friend and colleague Steve Mufatti, Kremer ended up working for Harvey Comics. He stayed at Harvey for 35 years and became a leading penciller, working on titles such as Casper, Little Max, Joe Palooka, Stumbo the Giant. Hot Stuff, Richie Rich and Little Audrey....
