His drawings of imaginary structures, birds and other creatures often incorporate the image of a clock. Sharlehorne has spent over half of his adult life in prison, where he drew a large number of his works in pen on manila envelopes. Sharlehorne has spent over half of his adult life in prison, where he drew a large number of his works in pen on manila envelopes.
