After further art studies in London and Paris, he worked as a freelance illustrator and as a staff artist for the Oakland Post, San Francisco Chronicle and Call Bulletin newspapers. By 1930 he was exhibiting nationally and was known for his miniature watercolors of the San Francisco... Read full biography
