He taught at the Carmel Arts & Crafts Club in 1913-16, Los Altos in the late 1920s, and Berkeley in 1932. His oeuvre includes landscapes of Mt Diablo and the Monterey Peninsula as well as floral still lifes. A plein-air painter, his works are those of an academically trained artist.
