An important Canadian sculptor, carver, draftsman and printmaker, Abraham Anghik Ruben (aka: Abraham Apakark Anghik) was born in Paulatuk, Northwest Territories (about 100 miles north of the Arctic Circle) and currently lives on Salt Spring Island, B.C.
