Alexander Colville (AKA: David Alexander Colville) is a painter, printmaker, muralist and educator who was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He spent most of his early childhood in St.Catherines, Ontario. In 1929 his family moved to Amherst, Nova Scotia.
