Richard Otto of Baywood Park made the first offer of $500 toward the project and the second was anonymous. Bufano has offered to supervise the basic construction and to do the sculpting of a monumental statue to be placed on the top of Morro Rock without charge for his labors. This community and any other interested elements would provide for the cost of materials and construction of the core.
