After graduating from Gloucester High School, on Cape Ann (MA), David began work in the atelier of R.H. Ives Gammell, spending several years with this noted Boston School painter. Curtis is an active member of the Guild of Boston Artists, the North Shore Arts Association and Rockport Art Association.
