From 1938 to 1944, he was in Prague where he was director of a photographic studio, and from 1944 until the end of the war, he was interred in a concentration camp. In 1948, he came to the United States where he settled in New York and was head of the Photographic Department at the Guggenheim Museum.... Read full biography
