To date, only 31 Manookian paintings are known. Between a short life and erratic production, the artist produced only a few finished oil paintings. In 1930, in a rage, Manookian destroyed all the canvases he had with him at the studio apartment he rented. Only one painting, not noticed by the artist during his rampage, had slipped behind a trunk. The artist discovered the painting later and gave it to his landlord's daughter, with whom he had become friends. This work was passed within the family since 1930, and is now offered for sale. Please contact the gallery for details.
