By all accounts, this sculpture "Book" is a major early work by Mutal. The work is featured at pages 125-127 of Gabriella DeFerrari's and Dena Merriam's book Lika Mutal published by Harry Abrams in 1996. The work originally sold through the Nohra Haime Gallery in New York City.
