Provenance: "Winter" was originally purchased by Stanley Byer. He purchased the painting from Dunning Auction in 1984 in Elgin, Illinois. Mr. Byer was related to Abraham Weiss from Florida. Saul Babbin, now deceased was a cousin of Mr. Weiss. The painting moved to Joy Babbin, Mr. Babbin's wife.
