Now available is a collection of recently discovered lost drawings by George Wachsteter, one of the most prominent caricaturists of the 20th century, whose engaging style is comparable to that of Al Hirschfeld.

This illustration for Kuppenheimer Clothes appeared in various advertisements and promotional materials in 1926 and 1927, such as the cover of a race-themed Kuppenheimer advertising booklet, as well as the interior page of the Kuppenheimer Spring & Summer 1926 brochure.

Anderson was commissioned by the Interwoven Stocking Company in the 1940s to create a series of pieces related to colonial themes, with emphasis upon the stockings worn by men of that era.

Illustration for the article ”Old New York Taverns” by John Austin Stevens for Harper’s New Monthly Magazine, published May 1890, Page 849. The article explores the significant role of taverns in New Amsterdam, modern-day New York City.

Created for Harper's magazine, December 1910 to accompany a story by Margaret G. Hayes. The illustration is reproduced within Walt Reed's The Illustrator in America, 1860-2000 (Society of Illustrators, 2001) on page 154.
