Originally established in Hartford, Connecticut in 1991 as Paesaggio Gallery, Garvey Rita specializes in contemporary American paintings and works on paper of the highest quality. We curate and produce exhibitions as well as advise corporate and private clients. We actively buy and sell works on the secondary market and offer professional services in the areas of appraisals, auction representation, collection development, consignment sales, and conservation. We also exhibit at a number of fine antique shows/art fairs and carry an eclectic mix of Folk Art, Traditional, and Mid-Century Modern pieces in our inventory.
