During his time in Italy, he came in contact with Italian Futurism and the Expressionism of the School of Rome, all which influenced the artist. In the 1930s, Bonadei returned to Brazil where he joined the grupo santa Helena and became interested in experimental modern art. In the late 1940s he joined the Avant Garde Theater Group in Sao Paulo and worked for many years as a costume designer, while continuing to paint. Source:... Read full biography
