He traveled extensively to Italy, Spain, France, Holland, and Morocco where he found inspiration from the world of circus, fairs, the artists, dancers and actors that inspired him. He was a member of the Munich Secession and the German Künstlerbund, participating regularly in their exhibitions. He also repeatedly exhibited at the Great Berlin Art Exhibition in the years 1908 and 1913. Moreover Faure was a member of the Stuttgarter Künstlerbund and was honored in 1905 with the Gold Medal of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart.
