August Reinhardt studied at the Art Academy in Leipzig at Bernhard von Neher and Gustav Jäger, then in the academic circle of Friedrich Preller the Elder in Weimar. From 1852-1855 Reinhardt stayed and studied in Italy (especially Rome). He received several orders from the Grand Duke of Weimar. Later he was based in Vienna and then in Leipzig. August Reinhardt studied at the Art Academy in Leipzig at Bernhard von Neher and Gustav Jäger, then in the academic circle of Friedrich Preller the Elder in Weimar. From 1852-1855 Reinhardt stayed and studied in Italy (especially Rome). He received several orders from the Grand Duke of Weimar. Later he was based in Vienna and then in Leipzig. From 1859 he located in Loschwitz near Dresden during this time, 1893-1911 he was an art teacher and professor at the Dresden cadet Corps. August Friedrich Reinhardt passed away in 1915 in Germany.
