Cheri Samba (b. 1956). Cheri Samba was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo in n Kinto M'Vuila on December 30, 1956. At sixteen, in 1972, Samba left his village to go to the capital of Kinshasa to look for work as a sign painter. In 1975, he opened his own studio and became the illustrator at the magazine, Bilenge Info.
