He was raised in several homes and spent a lot of time alone when he was younger. His first experience with fine art came in a very unlikely place. His mother had hung in her bathroom two prints; one being the 'Mona Lisa' and the other 'The Boy In Red' by Goya. He remembers spending a lot of time just staring at these works and being amazed by them. In completing his BFA at the Art Institute of Chicago, he realized that becoming an artist would be his life. His mother had hung in her bathroom two prints; one being the 'Mona Lisa' and the other 'The Boy In Red' by Goya. He remembers spending a lot of time just staring at these works and being amazed by them. In completing his BFA at the Art Institute of Chicago, he realized that becoming an artist would be his life.
