In 1927 he moved from Frankfurt to Berlin and studied at Johannes Itten's school. After a short stay in Paris from 1930 to 1931 he became acquainted with Cubism, which is also reflected in his prints from this time. To protect his Jewish wife Valerie Feix from repressions, Bäumer and his family moved to Salzburg in 1933, where the couple earned... Read full biography
