His first one-man show was at Galve Art Gallery in 1952 and was followed by a number of solos in Honolulu and at Gallery One in San Juan, Metro Manila. Seascapes are his forte, since he was born in a fishing town and his son is a fisherman. He was a fisherman in his youth as well. He won honorable mentions at the AAP Manila Club...
