Corzas was admitted to La Esmeralda an art school where he was instructed by Maria Izquierdo, Juan Soriano, Carlos Orozco Romero and Agustin Lazo. In 1955, Corzas moved to Rome and completed his studies at the Accademia di San Giacomo, as well as at the Accademia di Bella Arti e Liceo Artistico. Corzas was admitted to La Esmeralda an art school where he was instructed by Maria Izquierdo, Juan Soriano, Carlos Orozco Romero and Agustin Lazo. In 1955, Corzas moved to Rome and completed his studies at the Accademia di San Giacomo, as well as at the Accademia di Bella Arti e Liceo Artistico. In Italy, he faced extreme economics and often sold his art for food to survive. Corzas was awarded the silver metal at the Via Margutta International Art Fair, in 1960 which changed the path of his career.
