Lienemann lived in Richmond much of his life and was a shoemaker at 811 S. E St. He was a prolific painter in the style of Bundy. Lienemann lived in Richmond much of his life and was a shoemaker at 811 S. E St. He was a prolific painter in the style of Bundy. Many of his paintings are double sided oil on board with a typical size of 10x12 inches. The story is told that one evening in 1924, George Lienemann picked up his son's paint brush and began painting. The next morning his family was surprised to see a complete watercolor scene of a crane standing in a stream- Not bad for a 37 year Richmond shoemaker.
