While in Paris she also attended classes with painter Charles Hoffbauer. Upon her return to the United States Goodwin visited the thriving artists' community of Provincetown, Massachusetts where she took classes with the popular teacher Charles Webster Hawthorne. She also attended summer classes at the Shinnecock Summer School of William Merritt Chase. Goodwin exhibited at the Royal Academy, London, from 1907-1911; Art Institute of Chicago, 1913 and in 1925 at the Hoosier Salon in her home state of Indiana where she won a prize for...
