Henryk Kossowski was a Polish sculptor born in 1855. He was a student of his father, Henryk I Kossowski, and Marceli Guyski. After graduating from the School of Fine Arts in Krakow, he continued his studies in Paris with Mathurin Moreau. Kossowski exhibited his work in Paris, Vienna, Warsaw, Lviv, and Krakow. He was known for his sculptures in bronze, terracotta, and patinated plaster, particularly popular sculptural genre motifs and portraits. Kossowski passed away in 1921.
