From 1917 to 1918, he trained three semesters in the Department of Graphic and Printing Arts at the KGS Stuttgart. From 1918 to 1923, he studied at the ABK Stuttgart, under the guidance of Heinrich Altherr and Christian Landsberger, amongst others. In 1977, he was appointed professor. From 1918 to 1923, he studied at the ABK Stuttgart, under the guidance of Heinrich Altherr and Christian Landsberger, amongst others. In 1977, he was appointed professor. Bräckle’s extensive oeuvre with over 2,000 works include dynamically painted landscape miniatures with fresh color, as well as large-scale studio paintings with nuanced colors and a clear image structure.
