Returning to his hometown in 1937, he presented his work and applied for a position as a drawing teacher in Morocco which he obtained in Rabat at the colleges of Orange trees. Forced to return to France during the Second World War, he hastened to return to Morocco in 1946 and was appointed professor in Rabat at the Lycée Gouraud.
