Skarzynski was primarily known for his work in theater and film scenography, often collaborating with his wife Lidia Minticz-Skarzynska. He worked for the Stary Theater in Krakow and other theaters in Poland and abroad, as well as for films. Skarzynski died in Krakow in 2004.
