After this initial period, he settled in Madrid, where he studied Fine Arts at the San Fernando School. In order to complete Rodero's training, he moved to Paris in 1935, where he came into contact with the different avant-gardes in force. He always maintained a very personal style. Upon Rodero's return he settled in Barcelona. Jose Rodero was a founding member of the group Artists in Action, and held several exhibitions, both individual and collective.
