He was born in 1860 in Bridgeport, Connecticut and spent much of his career in New York where he was a member of the National Academy of Design, Salmagundi Club, Allied Artists of America and the National Arts Club. He was an instructor at the Brooklyn Institute of Arts and Sciences and did much painting in the Hudson River Valley and Adirondack Mountains. His early art training was at the National Academy of Design School, which he attended for five semesters. He first exhibited there in 1884, and his work was represented in 58 of the Academy's exhibitions. Boston won a bronze medal at the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo in 1901. In Brooklyn...
