Kazimierz Sichulski was born in 1879 in Lviv. He was educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków under J. Mehoffer, L. Wyczólkowski and S. Wyspianski. While still a student, he traveled around Europe for a long time. He was in Italy, Paris and Vienna. In 1904, together with F. Pautsch and W.
