He studied from 1922 at Albert Windisch at the College of book industry and the commercial artist Rudolf Koch in Offenbach. Since 1924 he has taught at the Frankfurt Art School of Expressionist Franz Karl Delavilla in drawing. Scheele held a membership in the artists' group "The Wedge" after his move to Berlin in 1927. Since 1924 he has taught at the Frankfurt Art School of Expressionist Franz Karl Delavilla in drawing. Scheele held a membership in the artists' group "The Wedge" after his move to Berlin in 1927. In the following years he took study tours within Europe. From 1927-28 he took part in painting classes by Martin Bloch and Anton Kerschbaumer. Scheele began woodcut at this time, a technique which occupied the most space in his work. In painting, he broke away in subsequent years from Expressionism and turned to abstract painting. Since 1924 he has taught at the Frankfurt Art School of Expressionist Franz Karl Delavilla in drawing. Scheele held a membership in the artists' group "The Wedge" after his move to Berlin in 1927. His works were banned during the Nazi period from 1939.
