He participated in the first exhibition of abstract art in Italy, on March 4, 1934, in the study of the painters Casorati and Enrico Paolucci in Turin, with the artists Lucio Fontana, Osvaldo Licini, Fausto Melotti, Atanasio Soldati and others who signed the ''Manifesto of the First Group Exhibition of Abstract Art Italian''.
