In 1997 Max Werner moved to Argentina, and until 2003 worked in Buenos Aires. In 1997 Max Werner moved to Argentina, and until 2003 worked in Buenos Aires. Commissioned for 3 years in succession by the Art House Gallery of Buenos Aires, he traveled extensively across the different regions of Argentina, producing a body of work which consisted in its majority of large landscapes painted on canvas, although a lot of those landscapes contain observations of the various rural activities of those regions, such as cattle auctions,...
