After that he attended a private art school in Munich for three years before he changed to the academy where the sculptor Toni Stadler was his teacher. Afterwards he worked as freelance artist until he got a professorship at the Städelschule in Frankfurt in 1966 which he held until 1988. Croissant's work shows a figurative abstraction....
