She began exhibiting her paintings in Lugano in 1954 and later expanded to exhibitions throughout Switzerland and the Americas. In 1960, she became interested in sculpture and traveled to Mexico to study pre-Columbian art. She continued to exhibit her work in Mexico, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and the United States. She lived in Comano, Switzerland from 1971 and split her time between Venice and Mexico City. She primarily worked with the Perseo foundry in Mendrisio to cast her sculptures. She began exhibiting her paintings in Lugano in 1954 and later expanded to exhibitions throughout Switzerland and the Americas. In 1960, she became interested in sculpture and traveled to Mexico to study pre-Columbian art. She continued to exhibit her work in Mexico, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and the United States. The Cantonal Art Museum of Lugano holds some of her works and she is recognized as the most important Ticino sculptor.
