He produced several of the Royal Family, including three of Queen Elizabeth II, others of Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles and the Queen Mother who sat for him for four separate commissions. He served as President of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters from 1979 to 1983. Norman Hepple passed away in 1994.
