From 1905 - 1914, he exhibited regularly at the Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, and also with the Société de la Gravure originale en couleurs. Labrouche worked in the South of France, Flanders, Italy, Spain and Algeria. His mastery of light and shade was often compared to Gabriel Decamps and Claude Monet.
