In Stuttgart King Wilhelm provided him with a studio in the old castle and he became a traveling companion to Queen Olga. He traveled through Upper Bavaria, Tyrol, Switzerland and Northern Italy. In Stuttgart King Wilhelm provided him with a studio in the old castle and he became a traveling companion to Queen Olga. He traveled through Upper Bavaria, Tyrol, Switzerland and Northern Italy. In Stuttgart he founded a permanent art exhibition together with the painter Hermann Herdtle which also led to intensive interaction and the exchange of paintings with artist friends in Munich. Between 1896 and 1903 Peters spent four summer with his family at Köngen castle, southeast of Stuttgart where he painted. The castle has a considerable collection of works... Read full biography
