He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Saint Isabel of Hungary and received the protection of Antonio de Orleans, Duke of Montpensier, who settled in 1849 in the palace of San Telmo in Seville, where he assembled a court of literati and artists, attended by Fernán Caballero and Gertrudis Gómez de Avellaneda, together...
