In 1984 he obtained the Honorable Mention, in the IV National Meeting of Young Art, INBA; In 1987 received another Honorable Mention, in the National Hall of Plastic Arts, INBA; And in 1988 obtained Third Place in the IV Painting Biennial Rufino Tamayo.
