He then studied at the Académie de la Grande Chaumiere in Paris and traveled to Rome. He also worked in the studio of the sculptor Karl Geiser in Zurich. Many of his works Brem has created for the public space. His sculptures of humans and animals can be found in many cities throughout Switzerland.
