In 1921 he moved to Warsaw, where he opened a studio, which was burned during the Warsaw Uprising, and with it much of his work. He exhibited his paintings at exhibitions at the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts. He returned to Poland in 1946 and settled in Warsaw, first in Komorow, later in Milanówek.
