Yusoff Abdullah belonged to the Angkatan SePelukis Malaysia generation of Dato' Hoessein Enas, known for portraits, landscape and historical events, executed in batik, oil and watercolour. He was the first Malaysian to exhibit in the former Soviet Socialist Republic in 1978, displaying his batik works at the Oriental Art Museum in Moscow.
