His painting, The Old Cathedral, Panama' (1866) depicts colonial churches, recognizable by their domes and steeples, often 'stock' features in panoramic landscapes of the region at that time. Warren was born in Coventry, New York to a successful farming family. He worked on the farm until he began his studies with Tompkins H. Matteson at Sherburne, New York. He... Read full biography

Warren was born in Coventry, New York to a successful farming family. He worked on the farm until he began his studies with Tompkins H. Matteson at Sherburne, New York.
