The multi-talented artist, Georg Karl Koch (1857-1931) was initially educated by his father and then began studying at the Berlin Academy as pupil of Karl Gussow. Koch had his debut at the Berlin Academy exhibition in 1874 with the painting Waldpartie mit Rehen. In the following years he mainly painted panoramas and dioramas for Berlin, Leipzig, Dresden, and even cities in the United States. Koch had his debut at the Berlin Academy exhibition in 1874 with the painting Waldpartie mit Rehen. In the following years he mainly painted panoramas and dioramas for Berlin, Leipzig, Dresden, and even cities in the United States.
