He also left behind a body of work that portrayed various still lifes and landscapes. His water based works are filled with touches of light and color and are quite naturalistic. Walker was born in Scotch Ridge, Ohio on November 6, 1890. He studied under many known teachers including Almon Whiting, Fredrick Trautman, and Ross Moffet. He was a member of the Toledo Artklan and was awarded honorable mention in 1923 by The Toledo Museum of Art. In 1933 he was active in the New York area.
