He had lived and worked in Amsterdam, Nieuwer-Amstel 1859-1860, London 1863, then Amsterdam but left in 1869 for London again. He studied with his father Hermanus Koekkoek, and painted mainly seascapes; later, when living in London, he devoted himself to the art trade... Read full biography
