There, he found his true vocation as an easel painter by transferring to the Antique Class conducted by Robert Scott Lauder. These studies were supplemented by his attendance at the Royal Scottish Academy (RSA) Life class. These studies were supplemented by his attendance at the Royal Scottish Academy (RSA) Life class.
